Take the Back
(Guard, with gi)

These techniques should only be practiced with the supervision of an experienced instructor.
Practicing the moves incorrectly could result in serious bodily injury or death.

I begin with my opponent in my closed guard.
I open my guard and begin the setup for the scissor sweep.
My opponent makes the mistake of putting both hands on the same side.

I start by reaching over his back with my left arm and secure a grip on the inside of his gi, I also hook his right leg with my right leg.
Once I am around I pull up on his gi to create room for my second hook.
I sink the hook and secure back mount.
