Belt escape
(Mounted, with Gi)

These techniques should only be practiced with the supervision of an experienced instructor.
Practicing the moves incorrectly could result in serious bodily injury or death.

I begin with my opponent on top of me in the mount position.
I start my escape by sliding my left foot under his belt.
I then secure a grip on my opponent's left sleeve with my right hand.
Next I kick my left leg outward, pull down on my opponent's sleeve and roll to my right.
I complete the escape by sitting up in my opponent's guard.
