Collar choke
(Knee on stomach, with gi)

A Technique from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

These techniques should only be practiced with the supervision of an experienced instructor.
Practicing the moves incorrectly could result in serious bodily injury or death.

I begin controlling my opponent in knee on stomach, my right hand is deep in my opponent's right collar (four fingers inside, thumb behind his ear) while my left hand controls my opponent's right sleeve.
I lower my base and place my left hand in my opponent's left collar with my thumb inside and palm up, just behind his neck.
Next I tighten my hands into tight fists and rotate my left arm in a clockwise direction around my opponent's head, positioning my forearm across the front of his neck. I complete the choke by bringing my elbows towards the ground.
