A Technique from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

These techniques should only be practiced with the supervision of an experienced instructor.
Practicing the moves incorrectly could result in serious bodily injury or death.

I begin by controlling my opponent from the side control position.
The fighter on the bottom makes the mistake of pressing his forearm against my face, thereby exposing his arm.
I grip my opponent's left arm at the wrist with my left hand and pin the arm to the ground.
Once I have pinned his arm I take my right hand, move it under my opponent's tricep and grip my own wrist.
Finally, I slide his elbow towards his waist and use my right hand to lift his elbow while keeping the wrist pinned.
