A Technique from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

These techniques should only be practiced with the supervision of an experienced instructor.
Practicing the moves incorrectly could result in serious bodily injury or death.

I begin by holding my opponent in the side control position.
He makes the mistake of pressing on the side of my face with his right arm.
With my left hand I grab his right wrist and pin the arm to the floor.

Next I place my right arm under my opponent's elbow and grab my own arm.
To complete the lock I press down on the wrist and lift at the elbow.
